PCB Spindle Repair Service
NF Trading provides a specialised inspection, repair and testing service for high-speed PCB drilling and routing spindles. Every unit is handled through a traceable process designed to restore accuracy, reliability and production continuity.
Inspection and repair workflow
After collection, the spindle is identified and subjected to an initial technical assessment. Our technicians inspect mechanical condition, bearings, collet interface, runout, pneumatic circuit and electrical behaviour where applicable.
A detailed quotation is issued before work begins. Once approved, the spindle is dismantled, cleaned and repaired using original or certified replacement parts. Worn components are replaced and critical assemblies are checked against the manufacturer’s operating tolerances.
Final testing and traceability
Each repaired spindle is tested under controlled conditions. Checks include rotational stability, vibration, noise, temperature, air flow and tool runout. The unit is released only after the required performance has been confirmed.
Installation and restart recommendations
🔹 Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel following the machine and spindle manufacturer’s instructions.
🔹 Check the quality, pressure and dryness of the compressed-air supply before connection.
🔹 If the spindle has remained idle for more than one week, place it in its housing, connect the air line and allow air to circulate for 15 minutes to remove residual moisture from the bearings before use.
🔹 Confirm that the spindle rotates freely by hand before power-up.
🔹 During the warranty period, use only original collets and do not make unauthorised modifications.
Repair warranty
Spindles repaired by NF Trading are covered against repair defects for up to 1,000 operating hours or 6 months from delivery, whichever expires first.
During the warranty period, NF Trading will repair at no additional cost any malfunction attributable exclusively to the replacement parts installed or the work performed.
The warranty does not cover normal wear, improper use, excessive stress, unauthorised modifications or third-party work. The customer must allow NF Trading to inspect the unit and report visible defects within 2 weeks of delivery.
